Transportation

Third Lake is an extraordinarily good part of Halifax for driving. It is very convenient to park. Third Lake is not very amenable to biking as the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the topography is not very flat. It is also very challenging for people walking to move around in this part of Halifax as almost no day-to-day errands can be run on foot.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this community. With respect to food, shopping for one's groceries usually requires the use of a car in Third Lake.

Character

The character of Third Lake is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. Most areas in Third Lake are especially quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-distributed, which results in them being very hard to reach from the majority of locations in this part of Halifax.
