Transportation

The favoured transportation option in Port Dufferin is usually driving. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. Walking is not very practical for property owners in this part of the municipality because most daily needs are almost impossible to meet on foot. It is also very hard to commute by bike in this community because Port Dufferin has a quite bad cycling infrastructure, and there are a fair number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists.

Services

A vehicle is almost always required in this area to reach the nearest grocery store. When it comes to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Halifax.

Port Dufferin is a fairly good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere.
