Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in Owls Head. It is very easy to access a parking spot. This community is not very bicycling-friendly because there are very few bike lanes, and the terrain is not especially flat. It is also very inconvenient for people travelling on foot to move around in Owls Head because many daily needs are nearly impossible to meet without the use of a car.

Services

Owls Head does not have any high schools or primary schools. With respect to eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed to buy groceries.

Character

The character of Owls Head is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. Owls Head is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Green spaces aren't well-situated, which results in them being very hard to access from the majority of locations in the community.

Housing

Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in Owls Head. This part of Halifax offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes.
