For ages, I'd been receiving these yearly Calendars in my mailbox - which incorporated a photo of our residence. Pretty astute, this proactive fella Craig. 15 years later I reached out. The next thing I know I'm welcoming him into my home and we're going through Charts, Graphs, Statistics. He's so enthusiastic about our opportunity that it's almost contagious. But it's February, house on the market. Some genuine fears let me tell you. But Craig, steady and reassuring was a calming influence to the trepidation I had been feeling. We set things in motion - photo's on Monday, List on Tuesday, Viewings on Wednesday, Thursday with cut off on Friday at 4:00. We were turning people away there were so many potential buyers. Moving to a new country can be incredibly challenging in many ways. Then you meet people like Craig from Remax, who makes you feel that finding a house may not be as difficult a task as you thought in beginning. We met Crag back in 2015 and our faith in him is still growing stronger. He recently got us our dream house by the lake side in a fair deal.

Mr. Craig Finnman did a great job in helping us sell our house in the covid year of 2021. We had been hearing that people were in the mood to buy homes and this increase in demand was pushing up prices . We received quotes on the value of the property and were surprised by the increase in value so we decided to sell. As it turned out though the appraisals we were given ( we had two different companies give us their appraisals) were a bit high and we did not get the price we had hoped for and realised that as time went on. Craig helped us with ideas for upgrading the house to make it more esthetically pleasing and helped us with dealing with the tenants to assure them that we would look after their interests though the process as well. Craig kept us informed on the activity over the entire time of the sale and suggested adjustments accordingly. When Craig showed me the property he pointed out everything that was good, but also made it clear that there were things that were not perfect. Specifically, things I would have to budget or save for. Roof, grass etc. He didn't make the property sound overly amazing to make a sale. In fact, I could tell he wasn't desperate for a sale. Remarkably, he was prepared to hold out for a higher price than we were, thus delaying his commission! Craig is a great example of what a real estate agent should be. He is a very professional, knowledgeable and client-focused agent. He communicates clearly and frequently and is available 7 days a week at all hours.

My wife and I had been wanting to purchase larger properties closer to the city as we were facing the eventual replacement of our farm. I had known Craig Finnman for some time and he had set us up on a watch list, from which we could get an idea of what the market was like, including viewing a number to create a short list. It really helped my wife and I when we finally found the piece we were looking for. It was listed as a commercial property, outside the normal MLS listings so I initially tried to contact the selling agent myself as I have always though of myself as good negotiator, but I did not get much of a response.
It was when Mr Finnman got involved that he was able to get some info, come up with an offer and that got the ball rolling. I also found that working through our realtor it was good to have a second level to bounce ideas off and backing off the pressure, letting Craig and his experience set the pace. The property was initially priced quite high but Craig suggested that we could get the price down substantially, which got our confidence up in securing the piece for much less than the listed price. We have owned it for almost 5 years now and we continue keep in touch with Craig regularly.

Craig was very responsive and helpful even before we arrived in Alberta. He shared an online home search tool with us that helped us select homes and share listings with him that we were interested in. He was able to line up five or six homes for us to view with him the first Saturday we were in Edmonton, and we found the home we wanted to put an offer on that day. Because Craig found a buyer for my house within days I cannot comment
on the usual procedures for a property sale.

The market at the time I listed my property was very slow. Craig gave me good advice on the value of my property and a realistic timeline that I could expect.
